Antique Victorian Rolled Gold Oval Black Enamel Locket

Antique Victorian era rolled gold or gold filled locket with black enamel design on the front and engine turned back. Interior includes a photo of a young boy held in a frame, while the other side has a glass insert, frame, and purple paper liner. Possibly worn in mourning.

The enamel appears to be intact, with no loss noted. A few minor dents along the back edge and some gold loss along the edge. Overall good condition.

Measures 1.2" x 0.9"

Locket has a high polish finish on the front, so in the photos it is reflecting quite a bit of its surroundings.
